Opening Night of "The Sky Show"

Scenes from the opening of "The Sky Show", my very first exhibition of 2017 featuring cloudscapes of all types. Huge thanks to all the friends/collectors who came out! The show continues at BODY of Santa Fe (333. W. Cordova Road, Santa Fe, 87505) through May 30th.

"Santa Fe Sky, No. 3", my largest oil painting to date, greets you at the door!

High altitude views over clouds during flights are one of my favorite perspectives to paint.

The Sky Show Kicks Off 2017!

I'm happy to share that my collection of cloudscapes will be on display at BODY of Santa Fe from April 1–May 31. We're celebrating with an OPENING RECEPTION on Friday, April 7 from 5:30–8:30pm with food, drinks, music, and of course, lots of art! BODY is located at 333 W. Cordova Road | Santa Fe | 87505 (MAP)

If you're in Santa Fe, I'd love to see you on April 7 and give you a personal tour of the space and show. For those living further away, here are some pics of works in progress for the show and some "sneak peak" shots of the installation. They practice yoga there, and have a first rate day spa/salon, so soothing, pretty clouds complement the serene environment.

More news about this show and other events for the summer coming soon!

The Making of San Francisco No. 6

If you're like me, you love looking at art. I'm almost as equally interested in seeing how things get made. Today I'm sharing a video showing the ebbs and flows of my recent painting featuring Telegraph Hill in San Francisco. After watching the progression, see details up close at San Francisco No. 6

New from the studio of Reyes Fine Art, this time lapse video captures the key stages in the evolution of a cityscape painting featuring Telegraph Hill in San Francisco. From ink drawing to final realized cityscape, witness the color and composition changes firsthand.

The Biggest and Best of "Cities & Skies"

The art shows I've been doing all summer long by the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe have been building to this Labor Day Weekend. For the first time in New Mexico, cityscapes from my Urbanica Series will unite with cloudscapes from the Aero Series. It's been a labor of love creating all these artworks so it's fitting that they come together this Labor Day.

Bringing The Big City To Santa Fe

What a weekend! My cityscape paintings made their debut in Santa Fe with the Santa Fe Society of Artists. I was thrilled with the response, especially the purchase of "New York No. 3" by a lovely family visiting from Baltimore. I even got the chance to paint live over the weekend and make progress on a new San Francisco cityscape. Enjoy the show!
